Did you know 1 out of every 3 women have had an abortion? This is a staggering number. Did you know over 56 million babies have been aborted since 1973, when Roe v Wade was enacted as law, allowing for the legalization of abortion? Did you know that no matter what a woman does to "move on" with her life, that her abortions if not dealt with, can ruin her life? Some women claim they are fine with their decision. Ok! This article isn't for the "I'm ok" group. If you are unhealed reading these statistics, are making you angry. You're breathing may have intensified as well. Are you choking back tears? Do you want to slam the laptop shut?
This article is for the woman who can't understand why she is dying inside. The trauma that accompanies abortion ( that no one talks about at the abortion clinic) can and does ruin women's lives. Failed relationships, infertility, reproductive diseases, anxiety, eating, social and depression disorders, addiction, sexual promiscuity, perverted sexual tendencies, inability to bond with living children, child abuse, self-loathing and explosive rage just to name a few are the ways abortion trauma manifests itself in our lives.
Take a moment to read this article. If it helps and applies great! If not, then that's ok too. But if you are like me, you'll begin to see where aborting your baby(ies) has robbed you and tormented you! It's ok to admit this. It's time to get healing! I love you and am praying for you! I won't judge you. I won't shame you. I can't. I am just like you! I had 8 abortions over a 15 year period.
